About This Course
Project Bike Tech
Project Bike Tech (PBT) is the industry leader for high-school bicycle technology education. The Level 1 curriculum prepares students for entry-level bicycle mechanic skills and an industry-recognized Level 1 Bicycle Technician certification.
Aztec High School
This implementation of the PBT Level 1 curriculum is taught in the CTE program at Aztec High School in Aztec, New Mexico.

Curriculum Design
Each lesson focuses on a specific skill or competency required for basic bicycle assembly, maintenance, and shop success. Most lessons include:
- Suggested readings from the Park Tool Big Blue Book
- Skill demonstration videos
- Diagrams and contextual slide presentations
- Step-by-step installation & adjustment instructions
- Note guides / worksheets
- Skill Checks to document progress
- Optional STEM enrichment activities
How to Use This Site
Students
Use the Lessons page to move through the sequence. Open the official materials for each lesson, complete the work, and turn in assignments via Google Classroom.
Parents / Guardians
This site gives an overview of what students are learning and the path to industry certification. Contact the instructor with any questions.
Teachers
All primary documents remain in the shared PBT Drive. This website is a convenient front-end for navigation and classroom use.
