02 Instructor Notes
PBT honors instructor discretion and professional latitude regarding student completion of skills. Multiple opportunities for success may be offered within course time constraints, classroom realities, and district policies.
All PBT licensed teachers are included as “commenters” on curriculum files. Suggestions for updates are welcomed and reviewed by the PBT team.
03 Next Steps for Students
Track your progress
Keep a simple log of completed lessons and skill-check scores. Ask your instructor for the current checklist status.
Practice the skills
Repetition is key — especially wheel truing, derailleur adjustment, and brake setup. Use shop time wisely.
Ask questions early
If a skill check is not at 80% yet, schedule re-do opportunities well before the end of the course.
